Camper question.

hey, so i was looking around on CL for a camper.

i got 2 hits back, and went to go lok at the size of my bed. i measured 7 feet and 3 inches.

as far as i know, the beds are sopost to be 6-8 feet long. so i guess i measured it wrong. my question is, from what point to i start to measure, and where do i end?

what i did was, start from the gap from the bed and cab, to the tailgate.

whatd i do wrong? thanks.

i have a 94 ranger XL

Oh. A topper/cap/camper shell..... Lol

YOu have a longbed.. which means you need a 7ft cap for a longbed Ranger. The 8' beds are from fullsize trucks...

If your huntin a 7' cap, good luck. They are few and far between. Most trucks with 7' beds are fleet vehicles so they will have cheap or commercial looking caps.

Because they were an option only, and usually the only people that get them are work places that use them as fleet vehicles.
