Icon14 Can someone please help me get my turn signals/hazards to work?

The hazards have not worked since I got this curse of a truck a month ago. Yesterday I pulled the guage cluster off and there were a couple bulbs missing. Replaced the missing bulbs for the airbag and door ajar. Put it all back together and now I have no turn signals. Took it apart again, checked all the bulbs, they are good. Fuse 10 and 21 are fine. I did NOTHING else.. so wtf? I'm seriously starting to regret buying this thing, I got something someone else destroyed.

I just tried replacing the entire guage cluster, did nothing. My mph guage quit working the same time also.

They are seated properly, checked and rechecked. Yes, have the dial type odomter, which doesn't work now either.

Any ideas? This really sucks.

Are you sure you didnt accidetnley un hook something while changing the lights. Also did you check the actuall Turnsignal bulbs? Possibly a bad switch?

I don't think so, I've checked and rechecked. The hazards have been not working since I bought the truck. The turn signals and odometer/speedo just went out at the same time 2 days ago... I don't get it.

If this all happened right after you reinstalled it. Something has to be unhooked or something.. I can't think of anything else unless something is shorting out. Or possibly a bad cluster?

hope its not the cluster.. there not cheap. and only a dealer can get them and install them.. fedral law.. how do I know.. mine went out on my 96. but it was just the speedo that went.. not all of the problems that you are having.. I'd go back in one last time check every thing over.. terminal ends all of it.. Is it clicking when you put the turn signal on?

Second post down... already tried a new gauge cluster, had the exact same problems with that one, so I know it is not the cluster itself.

It isn't clicking when I put the blinker or hazard on, doesn't do anything.

My speedo went out a while back and it was the speed sensor in the rear diff....

I dont know if the wiring runs through the hazards on the ranger, but on some cars it does. So a bad hazard switch will cause no blinkers.

The hazard and flasher relay are under the dash by the steering column. Did you check the relays yet??

No I didn't, I was hoping someone would let me know where those were located so I could try replacing them.

So what do I need to pull off to find these relays? Are they under the steering column, or behind the instrument cluster? Thanks.

Anyone??? I may have found the relay box, but it has 5 or so relays in it and they are all black, some people are saying the flasher relay will be blue or even yellow.. so am I in the right spot? Its under the steering column, kinda above the brake pedal, it has some red on it, and it had a black cover over the relays.
