hey everyone just picked up a 2.3l trubo diesel out of a 86 ranger( i think that he year) just wondering if there was anyway to build one i was working on a gas 2.3 but wanna do something different anyone got anyideas let me know

 

a guy on one of the diesel forums i'm on built his diesel up a little bit. i dont really rememeber what he had into it. i think it was just a pump and exhaust and a few other things. not really built. if i find the thread ill post it.

 

I had one. Turned up the pump, blocked off the wastegate and it had good power. It's indirect injection with limited parts. Don't expect to do much more with it.
