CB Where did you mount it?

Fx4wannabe01, you look like you have yours mounted like i mounted mine on my old truck. i bolted the CB bracket to a metal bar, and then i bolted the bar from one visor clip to the other above the headliner. is that how you did yours? great way to mount the CB by btw, and i had a wilson 5000 magnet mount. i could contact my home planet with that antenna lol

CB is mounted in a custom made OHC



Antenna is a 102" whip mounted off the side bed rail and tied down to the back of the cab when not in use

Failed Overhead Console install....turned into covering up the huge hole! lol.


Used the Cobra bracket and 10-32 screws and 1" nylon spacers to space the bracket away from the roof(wouldn't fit w/o 'em)...

the grommets in floor pans you guys are taking about are they right under your feet under that rubber plug?

lift up your carpet and you'll see 'em. OR go under your truck...you'll see 'em. theres one per side behind the seats.
