In-Channel Vent Visor Questions

I just got my vent visors and they are the in-channel ones..

so I'm just suppose to jam them into the channel where my windows are right? how well do they stay in there? will they fall out... say while i'm offroading?

Also, is there any way I can make it stick there? i.e. double-sided sticky tape? anything?

That's how mine are attached. Got them over 3 years ago and no sign of fallin out. My dad has some on his van that stick on the outside of the door and they started to peel off after a year, so I'm glad mine stick inside the window channel I bet they'll stay on longer than the truck will last. It's just double sided 3M tape.

I have the inchannel ones too and no you dont take out the lining first read the directions as it says " wipe the felt lining with the alcohol swab to clean and let dry then apply vent visor dont put window down for 24hrs" im pretty sure thats what it says i just did min 6 months ago and not a problem in the world..also go the 2 back ones to match the front

yes my LUND vent visors, are only a tap that goes up into the channel, its not like in the whole V grove it has double sided 3M tape you swap it with alcohol they supply peel the tape off put it up in there roll up window and push on the weather stripping on the outside to get a good seal. the stick VERY well i only had 1 come loose after 2 years of being on there I noticed one of the ends was loose and ripped it off cleaned off the surface and reapplied more 3M tape and sticked it back up there its been over 2 years now and its fine...

I put the weather tech ones on my truck the other day and they go right up into window channel, i think they make it nice for when its cold outside or raning and you want the windows down.

Like Lone Ranger 93 said, 3M double sided tape. You should be able to find it at any auto parts store (Autozone, NAPA . . .) in about 1/8"-1/4", I forget what width.

The weathertech brand does not have the tape on them.

I like the weathertech brand better than any of the other ones for ease of installation no tape to mess with or anything else.
