Thats how I did mine. Didn't roll the windows down for atleast a day. No problems

Mine have been on for 8 years and never a problem with them.

i rolled mine down about 10 min after.. lol all you need to do is put them on roll the window up.. and push on the outer seal.. and its done.. same as installed an emblem on a fender.. you can wash right after and it wont fall off lol..

Haven't had any issues with mine but they were already installed when I got him, by Ford

thats what I did but then it rained alot and I missed being able to crack my windows...
