Check Eng Light (CEL)

Just passing on some info ... The first thing to do after you have changed anything ( parts, Cleaned somthing, etc) and the CEL comes on you must reset the CEL...disconnect the battery for ten min's or more and reconnect see if the light goes out. This could have saved me $50. If it does not then have it checked.

hope it helps

Randy

since we are talking about it, is there a faster way to reset the computer? In my 94 mazda, you disconnect the battery and press the brakes. This drains a "leftover" charge that is in there so you can change a battery and not have the computer reset itself. I dont know if its in the form of a backup battery or what.
