Chevy VS Ford
If you were smart you would realize that the Vette uses a transverse leaf set up, not like your normal leaf set up. ZR1, not even going there. The Corvette is in a class of its own...hell the Z06 beats the Ford GT in many categories. I am not repping GM, just setting you straight.
GM has the ZR1 and the fastest 4 door around the Ring, the CTS-V.
The LSx engines are some of the easiest engines to mod and yield incredible HP gains.
GM and Ford both have their pluses and minuses...simple.
A C6 rides better then my car on the road...and handles better on the track.
Well speaking from experience, I work at auto zone, the most common vehicle in need of parts is chevy, more specific the 95-03 c1500(silverado 2wd) Mostly Fuel Pumps, Water Pumps, and ****ty A/C Delco Batteries(people think they are the **** but not really) Actually a battery is a battery they're all made in mexico. It just seems that truck likes to kill them. Then on the 87-01 k1500 (silverado 4wd) Its suspension like no body business. Tie rod ends and ball joints out the pooper. all the cars(all the rim monsters, Impala and what not) seem to have no gaskets. People always buy head gaskets, intake and exhasut etc.
every vehicle my family owned was a ford... ever since my dads first car (a 1968 Shelby GT 500) to his most recent being a 07 F150 4x4 5.4 V8. My mom has a 02 Explorer 4x4 and me of course the ranger. The new Shelby can put up a decent fight with the vete the powerstroke just kicks a$$. GM has a crappy diesel that was designed from an isuzu V6 block. Our family has NEVER had any problems with any ford we owned. cant say the same for friends with GM products.

'NUFF SAID
Lol I'm not even going to bother with this thread.. I could go on about how my Grandpa's Chevy 3500 Dually struggled mile after mile pulling his 5th wheel. Or how my GF's dad's lifted 3500 dually diesel got stuck in a foot of snow trying to show off and drive around me when I was stuck in 3.5 foot of snow

EDIT: Can't find the picture on photobucket or my ext HD. I'll post it up later I guess.. It was sweet. I had snow up to the bottom of my headlight, I pushed snow with my door when I opened to get out, I was in deep SH*T Lol. And he came bajaing through like he was invincible, and got stuck in a foot, MAYBE a foot and a half of snow that was 30 yards away LOL
Every GM vehicle that we have owned in the past always had more problems than the Fords that we have now. Will not buy almost any vehicle unless it is Ford. I just think Ford has better designs that GM.
You said he is just a mall crawler but says that he takes it off road... so take yours out and get some pics and/or videos of you offroad and show them to everyone when he talks about going offroad and talks trash on your stuff. Then ask him to show his pics or videos and he wont have anything
I thought the Z06 was the 2nd fastest GM vehicle?
I need a GT35 (soon)
Besides RS200 > pretty much anything.

I would say ZR1, Z06, and CTS-V would give you a run for your money. And a base Vette from a roll, maybe with exhaust and intake, would be interesting.
Yea...GTOs stock run mid to high 12s on ok tires. Add a Megadeath cam, then they come alive and sound killer.
I'm not going to argue to death but they don't have an 4wd/turbo rallycar. Too many posts like this.. My original post was "I don't like any of thier cars" (mostly because I like 4wd turborockets.)
Just tell him to shut up. Ignore him plan and simple. He starts talking **** walk away and he says something look and him and say, "I ain't gotta prove nothing to you. Go play with your rattle can."
I don't think they run 12s stock since its a heavy car. Maybe 13s since 0-60 stock takes 5.5 seconds.

^So you do that?
