Chromoly axle shafts
why do you want the stronger axle shafts? by swapping to an explorer axle with the 31 spline shafts you will gain a ton more strength, be pretty close if not better than chromo 28 spline shafts plus you can get them with disk brakes and l/s diffs
locked front and rear on 37's is pretty hard on axle shafts have no problem getting chromos for my waggy 44 but cant seem to track down any 28 spline 8.8 shafts
I can put chromo shafts in my 28 spline 8.8 with less effort than swapping to an explorer 8.8, involving setting up correct pinion angle, resetting up gears for a locker and such. I already have an auburn e-locker and have no need for discs.
could you direct me to the 28 spline chromo shafts your basing your comparison off? cant seem to find them on any of the manufacturers sites I know of. :)

im not basing it off 28 spline chromo shafts, just similar diameter jeep shafts for the dana 35. if you are running 37s i wouldnt even think twice about upgrading to the explorer axle and doing the super 88 kit. you could easily sell that locked 28 spline to any jeep guy
