Cost of truck + mods, how much have you invested so far?

I was thinking about this the other day. I went in on the Ranger deal the 'wrong way' It was aleased vehicle which I had every intention of buying out. We did it that way because an out right buy for me was out of the question. For me to buy my truck would have been about $450 a month... vs $250 for the lease. then at the end of the lease it went up to $350 for 36 months which I paid off over a year early.

at the end of the day however, I geustimate, that I have roughly $25,000 invested into the ranger thus far. between the payments, and the modifications.

What about you? Where do you stand? And if you havent paid it off yet, what are your payments?

Also, some of you may not know but ford, basically 'gave away' 2005 FX4 lvl2's for 17K in 2005... I was SOO pissed

Lets see...
Tires: $625
Wheels: $260?
Tuner: $315
Corners: $40?
Double Din: $500
Other little do-dads: ~$100
Total: ~$1,900
And I inherited my truck so there's no payment on that.

i paid $6100 canadian for my 93 XLT 4x4 a couple years ago with 233,800kms... got a $5000 loan, parents paid the other 1100. and i was paying the parents 75 bucks a month to pay them back and the bank 140 a month. then for christmas one year they said i didnt have to pay them back. so that just leaves me with the bank loan..

then i paid 1000 bucks into the truck and the slave cylinder went and dad and i didnt have the time to fix it, and i didnt have the money, so i had to re-finance the truck to fix it. so then i was back up to 5000 that i owed on the truck.. finally its back down to about 3600. it was supposed to be a 3 year loan, but its gonna take me longer to pay it back because of the refinance. also have zero mods to it. it does need some TLC and that will be about 300 bucks to do those..also had to replace tail light so $45 for that.. and backed into a tree and busted the same tail so now i get to replace it again..

Let's see

Truck was given to me but I know my dad paid $4,000 for it. I got it in April with 60,000 miles on it.

Headunit/Subwoofer/Amp : $370
Tint: $130
Headlights: $65
HIDs: $60
L1224Rs: $75
Wheels and Tires: $1200
Line of Fire: $50

So about $2000 not including the price of the actual truck.

Same applies here, I prefer not to think about it. It's paid off though.
