Cost of truck + mods, how much have you invested so far?
Probably near $12k after truck cost, repairs, new paint and mods bought that have yet to be installed.
Will cost close to $5k at least, to finish it the way I want.
Still rather have an older, heavily modded truck than something new of equivilant value though.

And urandaman, OUCH
HAHA you have no idea... to to get it to where i wanted it would have been another 10grand. so i sold it, paid off a loan, credit card bill and now i am out of debt with a nice bit if money in savings so i am doing alright.
When I bought my used 2003 Ranger for $9,950, I though I got a good deal, as the dealer said a new one like mine would cost in the $20,000 range. I thought that was a stretch, but now I see it wasn't, I really did get a good buy on mine compared to some people....
Wow....I just got an e-mail from Autocheck to sign up for a thing they call a Garage for my vehicle. One of the services is that they tell you what your vehicle is worth based on mileage and comparable recent sales in your area....My Ranger with 41900 miles priced out at around $11,900.
Well bought the truck 2 years ago for 3k with 124k miles on it

Considering the stereo pictured was the 2nd stereo, the rims were the 3rd set and 4th set of tires. I could quickly add up enough to get to 20-30K.
I sold it cause really i never drove it much and it wasnt doing any good just being parked. Once i put the Lightning motor in it, i only put 6-7K miles on it in 2 years. Ended up selling it for 17,500. Paid off my Ranger and Fiance's car, paid for our honeymoon, put rest in the bank.
