The Desert Tactical Ranger
cant say that i have... and i watch myth busters pretty often... just watched the one where they try to split cars in half with a snowplow lol
^ ha. The tennis ball trick is cut a hole in the tennis ball the size of the key hole and then press the tennis ball against the hole and the air pressure should pop the lock. But it was busted lol.
As for the flashlight deal....passenger side A pillar or in the ext cab is better. Or on your floor somewhere.

or the center console, where you can convienently access it
Huh...it's not really tactical. I only say this because I have spent some time in trucks that were kitted out for that purpose, and I think you are really missing the mark. If you are going for tactical I would recommend the swicth to red lighing as everyone has already pointed out. Green does not do much for night vision, it just makes it look like you are using night vision. Also check some Jeep suppliers for tactical seat covers. I have seen a set in a Jeep accessories catolouge that came in tan canvass with an assortment of tac pouches and velcro on the back. Think about getting a snorkel system and a push bar etc. Lose the Sig. I use a 225, so I am not talking out of my a**, I just don't believe they have a place in your rig unless you are in combat.
You have an interesting idea, I just don't think you are there yet.
Alos, just to confirm, are you in, or have you ever been in the service?

that seems like a long reach to grab the gun. It seems it would be closer to have it either on the door panel, or if you are strictly right handed under the steering column or something. I like the idea of the memory foam, however I would upholster it with something tighter. The stickers are not what I would do however I dont think it matters that they are different, even if they were both straight they cant ever really be symmetrical because you have to read from left to right. I agree with the comments on the cell phone and flashlight however, safety first, however I can understand overlooking that. I dont know anything about night vision so I dunno. Im not aa gun carrier, however, I have never needed one. There has never been a situation I couldnt talk myself out of, and if not I wasnt confident I could defend my self. That is why I am brown belt in Judo and Jujitsu, and practice self defense against an attacker with a gun. If you have a gun it is just who shoots who first, and I dont like those odds. Chances are he will feel more threatend that you have a gun and will be more likely to shoot. And if he is at my window or close enough to reach I have no problem breaking an arm or two.
****, I'm moving to Vegas.. In Texas all weapons in a vehicle have to be concealed, and there's no open carry
same reason i carry a mossberg 500

My point exactly! I'm not trying to slam anyone, I just wanted to bring up these two points.
If I get pulled over, only thing the officer will do is get the weapon out of my vehicle, make sure its registed to me, and send me on my merry way.
Open carry in Nevada...As I have said. I can walk around anywhere with a gun on my hip without any kind of permit, as long as its registered to me.
No im not in, I'm joining in a few years. God forbid I support my friends...
Fun to Pretend? What do you mean by that?
If there is a crazy gunman somewhere and I have a chance to put him down, I will. I have never needed to use it either, but its the same idea as a condom, I'd rather have one and not need it, then to need it and not have one.
The only purpose the holster serves is to get out of the small of my back when im driving.
Yes, this is my idea, it is no where near finished. This will take easily 2 years.

what everyone is trying to say is that other people have made comments thanking you for your service. To somebody that has served, it is a bit insulting that this wasn't cleared up until somebody asked you directly. If you want to drive arround with a 9mm and an M-4 in a Ranger, pop crazy gunmen, and support your friends in the service at the same time
SERVE
Ya, I didn't see them right away. I know just how insulting that is. I am one who is completely against wearing something you didn't earn. I would never say I have served when I didnt. Sorry for not seeing that sooner.
Carry Daily, Apply Sparingly. And the gunman was an example.
Anyways, Thanks guys. Points have been made for now. As I get more stuff done, I'll throw some pictures up. Decals, Audio system, taillights and exaust should be in within the next month.
