Yep, but most minivan motors were better than my old 3.0L that should have been axed years ago lol

Any plans on a lift?
Not true.....

The front has 44 guts, R&P, carrier, and inner shafts.... but shares the same outer knuckle, stub shaft, and U joint as the Regular TJ D30s. Actually, the Rubi uses a thick D44 gear set, but a D44 set nontheless.

Congrats on your Jeep, personally I've never been a big fan of em, figured you'd venture back to Moparland eventually... but congrats on the Jeep, and good luck with it!

meh, shoulda kept the Ranger. Not saying you shouldn't have bought the jeep, but shoulda kept the Ranger and built a trail rig jeep.

I just bought a '76 FSJ Waggy, but I'm keeping the Ranger, so the Heep can get broken on the trails, and not worry about it.

JK is the new model designation for the Jeeps. They did away with everything else.

JK - all 07+ Jeeps, 4 door and 2 door
TJ - 97-06 only 2 door
LJ - the "long TJ"

Dude that's awesome! I had no idea those things were that capable! I'm sure the price tag is nuts, but having Elockers front and rear with that low gear has got to be pretty incredible. After I get a D60 underneath my 250, I want to install some sort of locker that I can engage/disengage like that.

F that... enjoy your minivan motor. Sorry but not a fan of the new jeep. How well does a quad fit in the back of that thing? Oh... sorry. guess it doesn't have a bed....

I have Tow hooks why the FCK would I use the brush guard? I bet if i hook a recovery strap to your bumper it would rip right off!

If i want to wheel i will use my brother in laws 88 SFA Toyota pickup with 37's not my DD.

At least you got the Rubicon.... They are nice. Don't get me wrong. If I EVER bought a Jeep it would be a TJ Rubicon. or a built TJ.

Im not suprised you went mopar. You have a family of them... Love the Cudas!

You don't buy a jeep to haul stuff. You can't use that as a reason against it.

Very nice.

I'd get the four door personally though.

Same hear. The TJ Rubicon is my favorite, the limited or whatever with the slightly longer wheelbase. I wouldn't mind starting with a standard TJ and building it up anyway. The factory axles in the TJ are junk when you step up in tire size.

I don't like the new jeeps much either. The underside seems to hang much lower, it sits lower, and while I confess I haven't driven one, I'm not excited about the engine.

I have seen a few JKs that I like with 6+ inches of lift though I guess.

Thank you! I'm very happy for the OP. But for 29 grand I would have a b!tchen f150 or a baddd tj.
