Did some body work on the front end...
This weekend I took off the front bumper, took off the front plate and repainted it.
Started with removing the front plate pins and welding up the holes with a wire welder. Then I sanded it down and used dolphin-glaze (bondo) in the holes. Sanded everything down and gave it a paintjob. 4 coats of color, and 3 coats of clear.
It looks so smooth now that I'm plateless.

I know the truck is dirty, sorry for that.

I had a few rock chips but not too many because I don't drive close to people. There was some small rust spots under the paint where I have touched it up - what can you do about that! - When I took it apart I rubberized everything that wouldn't be painted underneath. I'm going to have to do this every 2 or 3 years to keep it looking new. Next time the entire truck will probably get a new paint job. If Ford did one thing right on my truck it is the color. Sonic Blue is so pretty.
