Hello,

I would like to know if they made an Extended cab 4x4 Ranger 3.0L in the model years 2002 to 2004. The reason I ask is I have a Whipple Supercharger kit for the 3.0L in those years and I would like the Extended cab 4x4 body. I was hoping somebody on this site could help as the dealerships say they aren't sure!

yes they did 95% made were 4.0L and 5% percent were 3.0L so its very rare that youll see one

 

you should sell me that supercharger instead...haha

 

sell the whipple and get a 4.0l... in the end they come out to just about the same HP out put... then use that money to get an express charger for the 4.0l

 

I had a 3.0L 2wd reg cab edge auto and my 4.0L super cab auto 4x4 is faster, BTW both had 31's and 4.10 gears.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the 4.0L has a beefier tranny as well.
