Could I bend the damn brackets more?

Need some better ideas then grinding... since if I ground down some of it I would grind most of it away to get it to fit!

what exactly is bound up?

the ends of my brackets were barley rounded, and the bumper curved in... so the brackets hit the bumper on the inside b4 they lined up in the holes... or you can take a saw to it.. idk what your problem is exactly

I had my hitch on mine too... the bumper brackets were way to narrow, I had to bend mine out and then the ends back in to bolt them up.

Were doing that now... Going to add an extra piece of metal on the end to lengthen them.

Do we have to drill new hole? or use the existing ones.

Thanks Rick

i just spaced mine out on the bumper, a few washers or 1/4" plates work wonders.

MIne went on pretty easy. Make sure they are on there correctly. I had mine the wrong way the first time trynig to put them on.

BTW you do not need those stupid little braces for you rear bumper. It just makes it PITA

the past few i helped put on you had to bend them out a little more.. if the holes are not lining up like completely off there probably on the wrong side.. but all the one's i have done there just not bent right, got a huge wrench and rebent it

I don't remember any problems like that with my rear bumper. The only thing we had fun with was the front bushings.
