here's my 97' radio bezel. A finished pic and a during pic (you can somewhat see how it was before I shaved everything). shaved extra holes & shaved the original AC vents to add billet vents, glassed in the single din kit for durability and wrapped it in black tweed. The black dots in the finished pic are from my camera...dropped my phone :)

If it had one one hole, the cig lighter, I would have been all over this one but the extra holes are. Oe trouble to fill than what it is worth.

Thanks for the offer and if you happen to come across a bezel with one one hole let me know.

Just to clear up any question: The left hole is the cigar lighter. The upper right is the 12v power port. The lower left is for fog lamps.

Yes, I found one in the JY, out of a 2x, commercial truck, one of those no option vehicles. I knew not to pull too hard or in a twisting direction but I broke one of the pins on the rear of the unit. I took the unit anyway, it was free so why not but it is of no value unless someone can fix it.

So they do exist sort of like the M&M that walk and talk... Lol, it is just a matter of time before I find another.
Buggman fixed up one with a fog Light Sw for me and it is nice but I just have this idea in back of my head for another one.

Grev did you see the eBay link I posted? Rather expensive as rough as it is and from Canada so the post is expensive.

No I didn't but I just looked.

Rough yes but the coating needs to come off anyway.

Price is high especially with shipping.

There are seven people watching so it will go up in price.

Will probably use the one I posted with no port, I like it that way.

Thanks / ltr

Grev you don't have to sweat the price going up as it is a "buy it now" listing.

I installed a aftermarket wood dash trim kit on my 97 Ranger's center dash panel. I've also installed a Pioneer stereo that fills the whole opening in the Rangers radio bezel. I replaced the cigar lighter with a 12V power point cap.

Hello, my name is Darryl. I have an 07 STX Ranger. This past valentines day thieves stole my after market kenwood stereo which was attached to the bezel. So, they stole the bezel as well. It looks exactly like the 07 stx bezel pictured a few pictures above. I am looking for another one. If anyone knows where I can get one please let me know. Drop me a message here or kountzer@hotmail.com

Sorry to hear that, people are so jealous of what others have, instead of working for them they steal them, $ucks !

I frond in the past, in New England, the fastest place to locate Ranger Parts is from a Salvage Yard, (JY) that has a lot of Vehicles. The smaller yards that keep less vehicles on hand keep the newer ones or fastest selling parts, they get rid of the older stuff.
Start with two things, the years of Rangers with the same Bezel as your 2007 and by getting a list of the JYs in your area, visit the JYS tha you can drive to easily and call anything you might drive to if they have what you want.

No special formula, if possible start walking around, if you don't know the year of the vehicle that looks like it has the correct bezel then take picture of the bezel and the front and rear of the vehicle, post up her, maybe even while you are walking around.

Your pic has gone MIA, what do you have for options on it ?

Luck in the search.

One more thing, post your pic again, someone might have one on a shelf waiting for a use.
I had six different types at one time, ended up giving than all away before I moved, you find someone in the same situation.

Three years old and no one has posted since Feb 2015... I will, I will !

I took the Silver Bezel I Buggman and my self worked on.

AND, although not done yet it is at the Hydro-Graphics Shop getting this graphic applied.

Not sure how it will look when done but it will be different. Got the Dorr Handle Bezels with the same graphics and the Cup Holder with an American Flag Graphics.

Yup !
Hydro-graphcs from a relatively local shop.
I like basically they are ok but I am not overly happy about the Radio Bezel.
What do you think on the Radio Bezel... ?

Thx

I think the radio bezel looks good. It's different and looks nice! I wish there was a hydro dipper around me as I'd probably try a couple pieces.

Thx... not completely sure if it is going back.

The image is suppose to be a Brushed Steel, at least that's what I wanted !

Now to get to the Power Windows and the Stereo System, before they are actually in the truck.
That's after setting up the new Brush Hog on the Tractor, Leveling the grounds around the new patio, running a gas line to my new Forge, etc, etc., so goes the Honey-Do List !

Thx for your opinion...

Hoping to fit it in-between all of the above.

Mine 96 bezel is getting a little worn looking and the lighter/12V port has broken so it doesnt hold the outlet anymore. Are there good new ones available?

If you are referencing me, I went the Hydrographics route.

It is suppose to simulate metal.

I am not fully happy with the final on the Radio Bezel but it is something to get used to.

I also need to change the positions of the 4x Control, and the Power Port, before installing this one !
