Does anyone know what this guy did to his grille?

I found this picture some time ago and loved what he did to the grille. I saved it but now I don't know how to contact or find this guy so I thought I'd ask you guys.

Truck

It seems like his grille is just the outline that screws in with mesh in the middle. I would love to do that but don't know how he put mesh in the middle? Mine has bars and I don't think it would look good cutting mine up.

Looks like a black billet grille. Hard to tell.

I think it's a black mesh in the middle of the outline. At least that is what I want.

So I guess my main question is how did he do it? Is there such a grille with the outline grille where you can put a mesh / honey comb grille on the inside? Here is what I have. I don't think I could mod mine to do that. It has ridges behind it that are weirdly shaped. I can't cut them out without the taper staying.
