Was out and about today and stopped in my local Ford dealer to check on the drivers side airbag recall. Been reading about it for awhile but haven't found anything to verify, although papers are supposed to be mailed out in April / May.
Anyway, they ran my vin and it is confirmed, the drivers airbag is now under recall. They ordered one and stated a one-two week delivery time, and than an hour to put in, all at no charge.
Had the passenger side done in 2019, and this will complete it.
Go to your dealer with the vin and have them check it for you.

 

Received notice last week in mail. Have appointment to have mine done/ inspected on 4/6
