Drivers side leak

I’ve got a 2005 ford ranger and on the drivers side I get huge puddles of water I’ve sealed the floor up inside and out I believe it’s coming down the firewall now I’ve cleaned out a lot of dirt in the sides where the water drains down but can’t find any access points to see if there’s any other dirt I’ve removed the wiper blade parts and there’s no rust I do have one hole which may be causing the problem but I’ve been covering every hole I believe causes it but I still seem to get loads in it’s also sometimes mixed with screen wash so it must be coming down the window somewhere does anyone know what could possibly be causing this huge leak and what I can do to try solve it

1. Are you getting water on the passenger side? If so, check the drain tube for the AC system.
2. Replace your keyboard with one that has a functional punctuation keys.

open drivers door and on the bottom there are plastic clips for drain ports. Pull them out and see if they are plugged with crud. Do you have the rear slider window? If so, water can come in through that and also, rear third brake light is a known cause of allowing water in. Took me a year to find my leak for same issue. Mine was the rear slider window.

There's no plastic clips but it does have 3 holes in the bottom of the door which have nothing in so I don’t think it’s that. No I do not have the rear slider window either. Is the rear third brake the signal square light lower than the main ones.

That’s the holes in my door

Is this what you mean by the rear third brake light

3rd brake light will be at the top rear center of the cab. Apparently that's not required on the far side of the pond.

Ok, so your door plugs are already removed. If you have a 3rd brake light, it will be on the top of the back of your cab as stated above.

Two other places ill suggest is, #1. Bad windshield seal. #2. Plugged cowling port. When the cowling fills up, it can Chanel into the cab. Google "Plugged cowling, for ranger." There is a bunch of videos on YouTube about this.

I think I’ve sorted that problem, thanks for the help I believe my windshield was the problem as I’ve sealed it back up and everything’s seeming okay so far. I do now have another problem which I’m a bit unsure of I’ve noticed both brake lights don’t work I can’t see why both bulbs would have blown at the same time I’ve seen people say that a wire plugs onto the brake pedal but that’s not been disconnected, does anyone have any ideas on what this could be would it be a fuse or would that blow my main rear lights as well or not as I have rear lights and reversing one and indicators just no brake lights

I believe the brake switch fuse is #32 in the in cab fuse panel. I would start there, than use a light tester and probe power leads at switch to make sure it's functioning it can be bad and still plugged in. If those test good and bulbs are good, then you'll need to start looking along the wire harness for a bad spot. I had issues with electrical when my floors were getting wet. The channel along drivers door under the carpet is a runner for the rear cab and bed wires, I'd look that over as well.
