droning/humming sound? front end
well i checked all my bearings which were fine, and the grinding noise which made be think a bearing exploded im guessing was one heck of a rock jammed in somewhere, since i have rotated the tires the noise is cut in half. i havent rotated my 33" mt for like 7000 miles so im sure that had alot to do with it. just need to fix my tire rubbing problem now and i wont have any weird noises. anyone who says 33s and a superlift dont rub either are full of **** or never taken their truck mildly offroad. my tires rub the back of the front fender wells when turned slightly under compression and the front of the rear fender flares when its flexing which cuts my tires to hell. and i have traction bars, go figure.

Hmm...yeah I am thinking mine might be tires as well. Because it is only from front drivers side...and I just replaced the rotor and bearings on that side (and lower ball joint) and it still hums when braking...Brakes are fine too. So...who knows
does it have that droning sound just crusing on pavement or only when braking? i noticed the sound and weird movements in my steering wheel, as soon as i rotated them though it is alot better. how many miles since your last rotation? they told me with mud terrains it is probably best every oil change.
