Drove D's truck

I know alot of you already have but I think I am in love again. I am so jealous of how hard it pulls and how nice it drives. That motor feels so good and tranny shifts so nice.

I dunno anything about who has the fastest trucks but I know D proved 80 in 2nd gear. I go by the seat of the pants method. It feels good, especially from the drivers seat. I must compliment on the SSBC brake kit. That truck stops real good. I am jealous of rear disk brakes.

I have that spare set of calipers.. I wonder if I could get a set of plates from SSBS.. try putting discs on your truck luke? I just thought about it.. I don't need those single piston calipers..

Thanks for the compliment :) . I just need to finish putting on the rear bars and get it painted.

lets not start that one again. I'm the only one that has seen both run i think. It would be pretty even would be my guess.

D has somewhat of an advantage with the manual trans.

still who needs to prove which is faster? the are both sweet rangers.

I think he would leave me off the line.. then I would reel him in and it would go neck and neck. I have steep gears ( axle ) that take a while to wind out for a 5 speed.

Nicks running a 3200 stall. Makes up for having an aweful-matic off the line. Most your pro-5-0 guys run a powerglide with a lockout and converter. Not too many 5 speed guys out there still.

Actually.. Nick would crush me once we hit 100. My rev-limiter is set to 6500 and speedo to 100 ( Im not getting bagged for doing over 100 again! F-that! ). I'm setup for handeling right now. I can guarentee he couldn't chase me :) .. so long as the surface was paved :)

I'm not into drags like I used to be. I'm quite tuned down and actually have almost 15,000miles on the present engine with no blown head gaskets or fragged manifolds.

I'm sure Nick has a bunch of other ' goodies ' that he doesn't advertise as well. Hes no fool and stays low profile. Very smart individual

Waiting on my rear srpings, some bar stock and when Luke has a free weekend :) . Will be an easy 1 day event for all the physical/heavy items. Wiring is a joke and programming is easy as well. I also need a clutch and flexplate for the Liberty5.

I need to replace my seats so.. I figured having them out to get to the dash will make life easier as well. I've had some HEAVY people im those seats over the years.. they're not meant for such weight and the passengers seat is kinda bent.
