Yes, was an option on 1980's trucks, Rangers included
Ranger was a smaller truck so had pretty good MPG for the day, it wasn't a popular option since these smaller trucks were not built for hauling campers or trailers long distances
The more advanced EVAP system requirements killed the dual tanks, it just became way to expensive to add a 2nd tank and 2nd EVAP system for it
I think you can still order it on some models, but it does add a bit to the price, lol
