I thought Ford took them all back. Interesting truck if you want one for commuting I guess.

Wow 60miles range... thats redictulous. It should at least be 100 to be useful
(expected range is 50-70 with NEW according to them)
and those are 6 year old batteries...

And they say to only drive 35-40miles daily to maximize battery life.. blah

Yeah i couldn't get back and forth to work on that. Its like 35 miles to work one way. It was a good idea but it is just not practical.

For my Dad that would be perfect, since he only commutes a around 6 miles round trip.

I could see a car museum picking up something like that, at least as an early example of an alternate fuel vehicle from the 1990s.

I drive 39 miles one way, if this had a higher range, I would buy it...

I'd buy it if it was 2K or less, It is nothing more to me than a novelty. I like oddball vehicles, and it would be neat to have in my collection, but as a driver what a waste of money. And it has been proven that the coal exhasut put in the air that results from the extra Electricity Generation required to have that thing replace a normal vehicle if more pollutants in the air than a normal four cylinder vehicle running the same distance.

How mant of these did Ford make and why did they take them back? The range is way to low for it. I remember seeing them on a TV show right before the came out, but other than that I have never seen one.
