Have a 2001 Ranger. XLT extra cab with 3.0. Running good and doesn't even use any oil at 105,000 miles. While I'm very fond of it, think it could use a bit more horses at times. Need some opinions about what is the best (easiest) V8 engine/transmission swap for it. Thank you for any/all responses.

 

Search this board.....Your not the first to ask this question. Not being a Richard here but there is a lot of work, time and money in a swape. Explore with a good runny 5.0 are getting harder to find and you will need the whole truck.
