Exhaust question...
#1
Ok, here it goes... I wanna get duals put on my truck this week, i just can't decide on my muffler, or what size i should get with the pipes. I know i want duals out the rear, but i don't want to get to big of sized pipes to rob me of power. Right now im thinking Flowmaster 50 series (quieter than the 40 series), its considerbly cheaper than Magnaflow... but it only comes in certain sized in and outs. Im thinking 3 inch in, 2.5 inch out (anything smaller only has a 2 inch out)... is that to big? I don't want something thats going to rob me of performance, i only have so much with the 3.0 to begin with lol. The tips i want to get only come in 2.5 inch inlet 3 inch outlet, the muffler guy said he could still use um if he welded on a piece to make the pipe bigger, but id perfer to keep it as clean under there as possible. What does everyone think?

get a super/delta 40 2.25 in and 2.25 dual out, get a pair of eXcelerator tails with some 3 inch stainless tips
3 inch inlet on ANY ranger is way to big and will hurt you bigtime at the bottom end!
2.5 inch tails are also way to large for rangers.
i got all the parts listed above from a local exhaust warehouse for 135 bucks
