Passenger door is a real PITA?

The passenger door is hard to open, once you lift the handle you have to pull out to open the door. It’s a real PITA, and it’s starting to get on my nerves. The dealer says it just needs to be worked in over time but nothing has changed, since I purchased the truck new 1 year ago. Any ideas?

Is it the hinge that seems to bind, or is it the locking mechanism at the door jam? Something to try, if it's the hinge, is Liquid Wrench Dry Lubricant:

You can get it at Advance or Autozone for about 3-4$ and it works quite well on things like locks and hinges.

My '11 came like that from the factory... the passenger door is hard to open. There's probably nothing wrong with the hinges. I think it probably just needs an adjustment, but then you would have the break the paint on the door bolts (the factory paints over them)... that's why I've never tried adjusting.

I would inspect around the door jambs to see if any paint is scratched/missing from contact with the door.

I Think this makes sense, I'll talk to the dealer about an adjustment. Thanks

Good idea, but everything looks good.
