FFR the better beater
FFR the better beater
Ok ,I got a issue.
2001 Ford ranger off road special extended cab xlt automatic, never opened the tranny ,or the engine .fact it never ever even had new shocks put on it ,one alternator one chains of plugs and wires in an occasional oil change.
Stopped changing the oil bout a year ago, every once in a while I'll slap a new cheapo filter on it and add another quart of high dollar full synthetic. She leaks all over everything from everywhere, add synthetic trans fluid bout once a month . I decided after jus beating the brakes off er for the last 2 years for our 300,000 mile anniversary I was gonna treat er real fancy and dress the ole pig up a bit . New kyb's front an back new bushings all round , a couple a one ton rear helpers , new tires , even re fabbed some rear frame boxes and put her bumper back where it belongs.added and extended wood flat bed cause I was afraid she was gonna fly away at above 80mph. New pinion seals and universals ,a couple of front knuckles .all got left is the transmission should I back flush it or drop the pan and clean it out , looking for recommendations .... Fluid an filter type for 300,000 and any other details I should mind?
