My wife has a 2010 Ford Ranger that she loves. I want to get her some nice carpeted floor mats that will fit well. The truck has a plastic floor and a lot of the carpeted floor mats I see that are custom cut for the ranger specifically say they are not for vinyl floors.

Is that right? Should I buy them anyway or is there a special floor mat for the vinyl floored trucks?

I'm not particularly concerned that they be an exact fit, but I do want them to fit well, cover most of the floor, and not slide around underfoot. Any floor mat recommendations you have would be welcome.
