Fog light question?

I have a 1993 Ranger Splash 2wd and I ordered the fog light valance and the new fog lights. I looked under my truck and it has the original connections for fog lights but mine didn't come with the truck so I have no switch. I have wired fogs before but that was just wiring to a toggle switch so how will this work and were do the wires go from the connection because I can really trace it. Thanks Martin

Mine was the same deal, didn't have stock foglights but I put em on.

I didn't use the original connectors like ur talking about, but there is a connector for a switch behind the dash where the factory foglight switch is. just underneath the headlight ****

if you pull the dash out a little bit on that side you'll probably see it

if you feel like obtaining a stock switch and pluggin it in then more power to ya, but I never tried it on mine to even see if it'd work.

I see well the fog lights that I am getting have the connection to plug into the factory place tho that is more or less my problem.

Honestly, I think it's pot luck with the older trucks. I knew a guy with a 93, and all his wiring was there. All he had to do was plug in the lights, switch, and relay. Another friend had a 94 and he only had the wiring from the relay box to the dash. I had a 94, and only had the wiring from the bumper to the relay box.

yeah, you might have the wiring, but no relay. I would just do it independently with a new harness/relay/switch
