Daewoo is changing their name in every other country because they are peices of crap but they are still around. Opel is only availible in other countrys. BMW owns Triumph. MG is still around. Datsun is now Nissan. ****** was changed to Kaiser-Jeep Corporation then Kaiser-Jeep was sold to American Motors Corporation and now DaimlerChrysler owns them. Cord, De Soto and Eagle are gone

Not arguing with you just pointing out facts they are ALL gone but still around if you know what I mean.

If Ford was in ALOT of trouble some company would buy them.

That's what I was getting at, if Ford starts going down, Toyota would buy them out in a heartbeat, because they know that if they didn't, GM would and gain the upper hand by eliminating a major competitor and doubling it's size

My Roth, Janice and C-Fund all speak to the different. All my vestings have DOUBLED over the last 5 years.

The problem is.. Everyone hears teh word ' Big ' and believes its adorning entity is bad or evil. ' big corporations ' provide jobs and drive the market place.

You can't explain such to a Liberal or a Democrat.

The Hit to the econemy thats going to hurt the most is when Chuck Schumer ( Putzhead ) calls the CEO's before the Senate Comitties and acuses them of price gouging. They will laugh and everytime he says price-gouge ' they will say ' 1$ a barrel.. 2$ a barrel ' till he catches on and shuts his mouth. Then we as consumers will pay for his MF'ing towards them.

People whom complain about our econemy, are for lack of better terms , ' bottom feeders '. They are ill-educated and have a blame for everything without looking at the real source of the problem.. Themselves.

People need to realise THEY are responsible for themselves, their retirement, their properties. The term ' Entitlement ' is GONE! Nobody owes anyone a damn thing. People need to get off their ***** and earn a living for themselves.

Our econemy is beautiful , for the moment, till the new senate gets ahold of it.

D, have you drivin around Buffalo lately. How bout downtown with all those abandoned buildings. nuff said.

unemployment rates only include those still getting a check, whatabout those where the check stopped and they still cant get a job? Cant support a family on $10an hr.

hell, take my sister, shes a declorated officer of iraqi freedom, holds a masters in business, super smart, works for a brokerage firm in Niagra falls for $12 an hr, with no benefits.

However, she did get a job with US customs in Anchorage alaska, but even thats a bit of a stretch since she'll hafta buy all new furniture when she gets there, and shes 5,000 miles from her family, and her dieing father - not like she cares about him anyway, but still. I call it a lucky break.

*patiently waits for D to yell at him*

And ask yourself WHY they are in the condition they are! I was just there about 2 hours ago. Elmwood, Allen, Ferry, West Utica, Grider St..

Unemployment figures include EVERYONE in the social security index thats not drawing a payroll check.

If they cant support a family at 10$ and hour, they need to take on 2 jobs.

The Tradiotional family unit where one spouse worked and made good money is gone! That was the start of the decline of our industry, the belief in good nature of our neighbors, and the moral value of our society as a whole.

And if she was as smart as you state, she would have contacted teh Veterans Boartd of Merits and let them Head hunt for her. She could also LEAVE this area to where the salaries for such an achievement level are higher.

She CHOSE to come back to This Cespool of a state where your taxed so someone else can sit on their *****. She has what she voted for, nuff said.

Maybe if she leaves, this 40 degree weather will get back up to 50 the next morning , and 75 the next day from the way you speak of her

WOW - Alaska!!
Long Beach and Los Angeles are the two busiest ports in the USA
Then comes Oakland and then the good old Port of NY/NJ
There are THOUSANDS of Customs and Border Patrol jobs available
Why the heck go all the way north??
