Ford is the only auto maker that doesnt have a true 4 door truck
I was thinking today that ford was the only company that makes midsize trucks and doesnt make a true 4 door truck.
there is the
Chevy Colorado
Toyota Tacoma
Dodge Dakota
Nissan Frontier
Suzuki Equator
i think the new Mitsubishi truck comes in a 4 door but i have only seen a rare few of them. i cant think of any other campaniles off the top of my head.
why doesnt ford look and see that the mid size truck needs a 4 door so you can have the seating but still have a bed. i know ford have the sport trac but that isnt what i want i want a 4 door ranger.
any other input welcome just i don't understand it maybe we should send a whole bunch of letter to ford or something.

Some people like me don't want the MPG rating of the F150 or the size of it but want the 4 doors and something that will fit into tight spots. I sure don't need a high towing capacity since I have nothing to tow but I would like 4 full doors.

Because alot of people dont want a bigger truck. Look how many Rangers, Taco's, Dakota's, etc.. are out there. Ford needs to build what sells and alot of the 4 door "smaller" trucks sell well.

Some people dont NEED a fullsized truck, and would rather get by with a Midsized truck like the Tacoma or Canyon. Hell Suzuki just entered the Midsized truck world.

A 4door Ranger wouldn't take profits away from the F-150, it would take the profits away from the other companies making 4door compact picks-ups. You either want a little truck or a big truck. The addition of a 4door Ranger wouldn't hinder the F-150 sales whatsoever.

No what I said was Ford isn't going to bring over the 4 door Ranger. I just don't see them putting that kind of effort in a platform they want to elimanate anyway. Now will we see a mid sized 4 door (smaller than sport trac) in a few years, I hope so and maybe.
