Are all stepside beds 6ft? Looking to replace my standard bed on an 05 ranger single cab with a step side. I know for single cabs, the bed from an extended cab wont fit. Are beds from an extended cab step side the same? or should they fit as well

 

side step are why different and shorter. Also the tail gates are shorter as well.

 

Incorrect, the 6' bed is a 6' bed. The one that doesn't fit is the 7' bed that was only available on the regular(single) cab.
