I know this is kinda stupid but.... Is it possible to take the bed and cab from an extended cab ranger and put it on a reg cab long bed ranger? Cause my ranger's got a 7' bed and I'm not a fan of longbeds. I think it looks kinda weird but I can't complain, it's a ranger :D But yeah.... any ideas or opinions on that? I know you'd have to move the mount holes and all, but is would it be possible?


Or is the wheelbase not long enough on a reg cab long bed to do that?

 

Nope, The frame has an upward bend after the cab that would not allow for this.

Durr... I forgot about that haha. After having my bed off 4 times I should have remembered that. Oh well.

 

So much for that idea. It probally would be easier/cheaper to just get a different truck anyway.

My buddy and i put a chevy pickup cab on a blazer frame. Everyone thought it was body lifted only on the rear xab mounts.
