no not pwned at all

I had a Mazda 626 before I had my ranger, and in 40,000 miles i had the tranny rebuilt 2x. its mileage when I sold it: 110K original miles

General Motors is: Chevy, Buick, Pontiac, Saab, GMC, Hummer, Oldsmobile, Saturn, Cadillac

Diamler Chrysler is: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Mercedez-Benz, Smart, Maybach, Freightliner, FUSO, Sterling, Western Star, Thomas (buses), Setra, Orion

The rest are from memory not 100% correct:

VW: VW, Fiat, Porsche

Audi: Audi, Lamborgini

I think about 95% of all Ranger's have Mazda tranny's. So I don't think your tranny problems stem from it being a Mazda tranny.

Don't forget Cadillac in GM's list. But I could have sworn Audi and VW were related somehow? I could be wrong though...

they are , VDubs and Audi's are the same cars with different trim. it's more like the difference between XLT and EDGE

But Ford being a partner of Mazda isn't always a good thing. The Ford Probe WAS going to become the mustang until the Fox body was developed.

I could be wrong about the Vw thing, but I dont know how or why but I thought they weren't partnered. All I know is the germans own and are partnered with everyone just about.
