do any on you...
live in Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, or Colorado? im thinking about driving my Ranger back down to Texas this Christmas from Washington. what i would like to know, is if the roads get pretty bad there in the winter time. do they close certain roads? specifically, after Christmas.
this is my intended route. so if you live on or by this route, your input would be appreciated.
i plan to make the trip in about 4 days, 5 at the most.

I live in Greeley, Colorado and travel I-25 between Loveland and Denver all the time. I have also traveled the same highway between Cheyenne and Denver a few times during the winter. The highway can get pretty bad once you leave Cheyenne due to snow drifts and black ice. I have heard they close the highway often when there is a blizzard going because the wind can get to blowing pretty bad. Many people lose control, and drive off into the ditches. Especially the truckers. Plus alot of that drive is out in the middle of no where.
