well i went to a Junkyard yesterday to browse and see if i could find some sweet parts...no luck. but did see a nicer 86-87 for cheap and made a mental note.

today was chatting with a member with out a ride and said somthing about that sweet little deal. he seemed kinda interested and i went for a closer look so he wouldnt have to drive 80 miles to come look. checked it out and on my way back in i found me a flowmaster...just recently pulled! came right in and asked if it was for sale, and the fella there said it was. i asked for a tape to go mesure it and make sure my eye hasnt gone screwy and booya! 2.5" inlet dual 2.5 out 50 series! scored it for 20 bucks! looks like its a few years old, but no more than 4 or 5 tops. no cracks(but had poop welds but they came right off) and no damage or rattles! *****in!

i previously had the dynomax kit and it went through a couple changes... for the money it was a nice chage, but just wasnt enough sound. so i pulled the tail and i dumped it right before the axle and it kinda helped.... but now, buddy let me tell ya its kinda nice. as of now its sitting just straight out the muffler with nothing. its nice sounding too, but i will probly still do turn downs or somthing with it. its not drony or rice-y sounding so im pretty stocked! naturally i went out cruising for a bit and ran into my buddy with his prerunner ranger and he is running no cats and 10 series...needless to say he dwarfed me in sound lol!

ill have some sound bits up tomorrow!

Sounds like you got it for a steal! Were all the baffles inside still intact? I used to run some 40 series mufflers on my grand prix. Got em for free. The baffles inside were rusted out but it sounded so badass
