Found a BADASS wheeling spot! Pics Inside!

Well I found the most incredible place to go wheeling today, and it's like 15 minutes from my house! For anyone in the Plano/Frisco area, it's just barely north of the intersection of Lebanon and 4th Army. It's got hills, water crossings, mud, trails, everything! It's free, and the owner of the land is cool with it. Sometimes he is out there too!

I also got my first stuck today . It wasn't bad, but I found a BIG-*** rut someone had gotten stuck in before, and I saw it, and tried to go around it, gave myself plenty of space, but it was wet clay and I slid like 2 feet into this thing. My front passenger tire was down in it, my driver's side rear tire was in the air! I managed to find some wood and rocks to get under my tires, but as soon as I found I was much too stuck for that, a Tacoma came right out of the woods and I got to use my new tow strap to get pulled out! They showed me around the place though, and I'm so stoked to get back out there! Here are some pictures of when I got home, since I didn't have my camera with me...

This mud was caked on so hard I thought it had a huge rock in it! It's from getting stuck the first time, and also climbing a hill coming out from a water-crossing where the ruts got too deep and I almost high-centered myself on the hump in the middle!

Fred, I LOVE the superlift! It performed like a champ! Best $1400 bucks I've spent since the downpayment on my truck = D

Neil, my FX4 Stainless Steel towhooks are in the mail, should be here tomorrow! And as for a skid plate... yeah still need one of those = P

Zach, I may try to head out there for a few shots today, but perhaps I'll take it on foot this time since it rained again pretty hard last night.

Haha Gil I wasn't gonna make you jealous, we just don't get trails like that here in Texas! It was very similar to what I saw in the Spring Creek video though!
