Green earth technologies reformulates used oil, but most of their products don't actually contain as harmful elements as regular motor oil, yet have better lubricating effects.

That article is from 09 so it looks like they have made significant progress, at least creating new products.

Its new oil, not recycled you are thinking of NextGen from Valvoline. This stuff is made from beef and soy rather than petroleum.

It's free, why not?

by the way, the coupons have a code, so you can't just send people the pdf. They will have to get their own. it generates a different one for each person.

I doubt they would even sell it if it was bad for engines.

Their business model isnt, make engine oil that destroys engine. No one would buy it plus lawsuits would ruin them. Stick to mobil 1, but being ignorant of other products and bashing them is stupid.

This oil really isn't all that new, (well a year or so AT LEAST) and apparently they do these free rebates quite a bit. people have been stashing the oil when they do the rebates. I'll do it for free, may change it out a little early though.

I'm not trying to get anyone to use it, I'm just posting information I find. I understand older folks (no offense) like to stick with what works and has worked for years. In fact, I'm a mobil 1 man myself, but if I can get free oil and only go 2000-2500 miles on it, it's worth it in my book. I expect I'll go about 3000 before changing it out.

Nice catch, just saved 10 or so new coupons. All with different cert numbers, now to find addresses to send the rebates to.

Petroleum isn't better, until now it was just cheaper. As oil costs rise expect to see new oils hitting the market that I am sure will be better than dino.

You clearly do not open your eyes and read to formulate an educated opinion. Hence stupid.

Clearly there is a major player bank rolling this company, as the rate of growth and advertisement would break most millionaires. The tech looks solid, with free oil meeting standards it really is a no brainier in getting free oil.

FWIW, these trucks will rust out in the salt belt long before the engines die.

The rear main is leaking in my truck so it doesn't matter what oil goes in at this point it pisses on the ground.

If you act like a bashing *** then you deserve what ever opinion I formulate about you thread crapper.

He isn't saying you're stupid for not wanting to try this oil. He's saying your stupid for not reading anything and forming an ACTUAL opinion and calling it "carp oil" or just misspelling crap multiple times, whichever it is.

If you would actually read some of the links I posted where people used this oil for 5000 miles then had it tested and evaluated it and what is actually in it, then I would be fine if you still wanted to use Mobil 1, and excellent oil, but I don't believe you have actually read anything ther than what has been said in this thread. And you certainly don't have a very good attitude about it.
