look where the tbar key lays in the bracket. its metal to metal, if you got sand in there it would squeak. i would spray some wd-40 in there.

i had a slight noise to, you could barly hear it unless you had the radio off and windows down...after i changed my ball joint, it went away...i spent a lot of time trying to figure out what that noise was.

Try spraying some WD-40 on you ball joints or addin a little grease. More than likely the ball joints are the problem.

Nah no grease fittings on ranger front end. I meant just try to put some in there with your hands or something. I used a tootbruch to put some grease on my old truck's balljoints when they started squeaking alot.

Balljoints are sealed and cannot be greased unless you puncture it with a needle or something and inject greese in the boot. More than likely its a bad balljoint. Its only a temporary fix injecting them with grease Id rather just put a new balljoint in there rather than having to grease them.

God I love having zerk fittings on my Upper balljoints and the mounting locations for my lowers if they just start getting loud just get the grease gun out

my drivers side ball joint has a grease fitting but only the replacements have it, got it replaced last year the stock ones do not. i also use spray lubricated silicone on my squeaky parts it works faster and stays on longer then wd40... i think..
wd40 never works for me.

Mine comes from the sway bar bushings up front. You might want to do them. I haven't bothered because I'm getting rid of this front end anyway -- but all my squeak/groan is from the sway bar twisting in the rubber cushions where it mounts to the body.

You can just take them apart, grease them, and reassemble.

It could possibly be your ball joints. Look at your lower ones to see if they are torn or anything. You can get them off of ebay relatively cheap. And I'll help you install them since I did mine myself & got both sids done in less than 2 hrs.
