I saw one driving today and it had a Ranger decal on the very top of the front windsheild. It was a decal just like the ones that say "Super-duty". Anyone seen these around on ebay yet?

 

They are not decals. I have one on my 06 that says RANGER and its etched in.

 

yeah i was gonna say.... i thought they were part of the dot matrix across the top of the windshields like they are on the super duties..

 

hmmm.... my truck is due for a new windsheild too...

Yeah my Dad's new F-150 has one, I noticed the Ranger logo when i was inside a ranger. Could be my replacement window when i need one.

 

i imagine those windshields would be uberly expensive

 

yes Sir, you are correct. When my tint was installed the guy took a razor blade over it to make sure the tint would adhere to it and the razor blade would not take it off so thats how we found out it was actually etched into the glass just as it is on Super Duties.

 

is that a word uberly. sike im kidding. i havent heard that in a while. my buddy has a 06 ranger and i want to steal his winsheild him just for the fact it says ranger in it.

 

You wouldnt say uberly, you would just say uber....but its no big deal really

 

Ford says $375 for that windsheild in my 99. It would be less for the non-etched windsheild. No thanks, Ford.

 

So i need a new windsheild can I get that one put in ? I wonder how much more that would be.

 

Can somebody take a picture of "Ranger" etched in thier window. I would like to see it.

 

Ill see if I can get a clear one tomorrow.. Might be hard since I have limo tint covering it.

 

I should have gotten the original price for the regular window. Sry.
