Fuel injectors

What should 1999 flex fuel injectors ohm at?
Will 1999 flex fuel injectors fit in the place of 2002 regular injectors? I'm asking about actual size, the 2002 injectors look longer. Haven't disassembled yet.
RonD...thanks for all your patience...I

Pretty much all Ford injectors are low impedance, so 11-18 ohms is expected, 14 ohms is average

Ron D thanks for all your insight. Getting close to the end of a 5yr project. Hopefully...
picked up injectors and connectors to make everything work.
Do you recommend soldering wires and heat shrink or butt splices?

Heat shrink over either is fine

Metal on metal of butt splice is OK as long as its weather proof, and you don't cut strands when pinching the ends
Soldering is also OK as long as its weather proof, and you get good flow of solder, so no "cold solder joints"
