Yep should be. They're trying to fly it under the radar so we'll see. Its not set in stone, but they'll most likely be able to fic it. If not, I'll take it to a trans shop, parents will pay and I have to make payments to them. Trying to avoid that one. I hate owing my parents. What I do know is I miss my truck :( parts are coming in for it and I have nothing to do with them.

sorry haven't been on much to give an update. been working 10+ hour days. then going home and sleeping. lol

finally heard back today. it IS being covered under warranty FOR SURE. it will be done monday :) then after this next paycheck it alone will be enough to go regear. woot!

either way, i didn't spend a single dime even though it was my own stupidity (not regearing) that fvcked the trans. haha WIN

no clue. im not even sure if it was hard parts or soft parts. i just know they're fixing it. im sure i'll find out when i pick it up or talk to my dads buddy.

so after a few letdowns, it'll finally be done today. they were waiting on a few parts to get in i believe. they got them yesterday, it'll be done midday today. i work 7AM - 6PM so my parents are gonna pick it up for me and bring it to my work and swap out cars. can't wait!! i've got a few goodies to install tonight haha

got the truck back and it drives great! can't wait to regear!

ouch man. but im sure you have the knowhow to find a used unit local to you and swap it in. I could probably figure it out, but im just too damn lazy. haha

ya....i figure if i can do a sas, i guess theres no excuse for me not to do my own tranny swap lol luckily pick n pulls have rangers at a steady slow flow...

So what was wrong with it? Pullin trannys on rangers isnt hard at all, i just hope i never have to on my 05 at least for a few hundred thousand lol!

They told you worn out soft parts? I would have asked to see them, parts dont just get worn out and soft on a 3 year old transmission for no reason.
