Garmin GPS mounting

I usually glance down at it. Not really any different than glancing at the radio or speedo. And if I really wanted to I could load the Garmin with music and play it through the truck speakers (aux port) and I'm sure the Garmin girl would say "turn now" to help. Haven't actually tried to use the music feature on the Garmin yet.

And about eyes off the road. My DD has the sat radio sitting in the cup holder. I really don't like things on the windshield although the Garmin gets mounted on the window in the DD.

gps mount

I did mine by hot gluing the GPS mount into the coffee cup adapter.( the rubber thing that fits into the holder and is easily removeable) It sits low so there is no glare and works good for me. I tried to post pics but was unable.

Not a garmin but I mounted my tom tom to the 12V plug, with there being four prongs on the plug it has enough grip not to spin on even the roughest roads.
