Gas additives

hey,
i allways used a $.99 gas additive from walmart, and never really noticed anything. one day at advanced auto, i decided to buy the lucas oil stuff. at first i bought the one use bottle for like $4 and my mpg went up about .5-1 after a tank or 2. seeing that, i bought the bigger bottle and my mpg went from 13.8 to 15.8. ive waited to make a thread, and ive gone about 6 tanks of gas. no high way, just town driving.
does anyone else have any positive experiences with gas additives?

I was just going to say if you got 19 MPG then in a whole tank if you gained 1 MPG it would = 1 extra gallon of gas. Right here gas is 3.60 a gallon so spending $4 to gain on gallon of gas is not really a sound investment. If the intent is to clean your fuel system then I'd give you a thumb's up but what your into it for is missing the point.
