Goin to the JY on Tuesday

So Shane and I are going to go to the freightliner surplus on Tuesday (5/6) and I figured I'd ask if anyone wants anything?

They have everything you can think of there...

Air gauges with a spot for a light bulb to have a illuminated air pressure gauge (tank pressure)

18v,12v 3 position switches with different colored LEDs on them...

LOTS AND LOTS OF AIR HORNS and fittings I believe

Air tanks with auxiliary ports on them.. Different gallon sizes..

Lots of other things..

I planned on pick up a lot of air horn stuff and selling it on here to anyone who may be intersted... Let me know..

They have the 30in horns, the grover 1600 series horns... Just about everything you can think of... Let me know if something sparks your interest!

For just a small setup...

I paid $60 for a compressor at AutoZone... this one.. http://www.amazon.com/Slime-COMP-06-...9955797&sr=8-4

I know it looks cheap and cheesy, but it hasn't failed me yet and i'm going on 2 weeks with it... that's way longer than the harbor freight comp lasted me lol..

Then I paid $20 for a 5gal air tank mounted in my toolbox.

About $30 in hard air lines rated at 300psi

Probably $30-$40 in fittings

Gauge cost me $15

Horns were about $100 for the 3 trumpets I have under the truck, two different horns though (2 different bases, 1-has two trumpets, the other is just a single trumpet)

I bet I've got a good $260-$275 in my setup... I've also rigged a couple of quick disconnects on the tank to hook a air line up to it that I carry with me to inflate tires and such

Went T!TS UP! And after 7 of them, they basically handed me my money back and I went to Autozone for some other parts and ran into this compressor I have now from them... I actually had planned on buying a viair later that day and decided to try this one and found it's doing the job! Way out performing the HF one... I think if this one goes t!ts up I'll get a viair, but so far I recommend this pump if you don't have much cash!

I kind of figured you would keep burning through those hf ones, I tried warning you as my friend tried the same compressor with lifetime warranty and it kept dieing and they gave him his money back as well. Im not sure if he tried the autozone or a different auto stores air compressor but it eventually went out on him as well. This was for his train horns as well.

I think youll eventually be stepping up to a viair in the future, theres other great compressors out there to I know when my truck gets bagged I prob will run a viair 450 or edc
