Is this a good Ranger year?

Looking at buying a 2002 XLT with 4.0 engine and auto trans. Has 190,000 miles on it. Super good condition and has been maintained well. Is this a good and reliable year of Ranger? Are there issues that I should be aware of? I’ve heard some things about timing chains? what other issues should I be aware of. Is this the type of vehicle that we could expect to get 250,000 maybe even 300,000 miles on if we keep up on it? Any and all insights welcomed. Thank you.

2001-2005(?) trucks were well known for timing chain issues, and 2001-2002 trucks with cruise control were well known for cruise control deactivation switch issues, although the CCDS wasn't as much of a problem on Rangers as it was on other vehicles due to the position of the switch.

I have a 2003 3.0 so different engine, but I bought it with 42,000 miles in 2010 and now have 214,000 miles. I've taken care of it, and it has taken care of me. Maintenance is the key.
