how much did you guys spend on your explorer center console? curious bc im thinking of doing the mod of cutting my arm rest/center seat off and putting the console in. thanks a bunch.

 

There are quite a few at the local salvage yard in various conditions. Most would need a re-done lid though. I could charge you whatever the yard charges me for it plus shipping costs IF I can find one in good enough condition that I would want to put in my own truck. I won't pull a trashed one and try to sell it.

It seems their is hot market here in tyler for them ive found 8 explores / sportracs all missing the guages and consoles

color doesnt matter im going to paint it anyways , just that it funtions .

Ive checked 7 differant yards within a 50 mile radius of my house and none have any consoles or gauges ... Heck im contemplateing driving to Htown or the Big D to hit up thier junkyards ....

Heres the ones I know work 98-02 Explorer Sport (the 2 door only) and 98-02 Sportracs ... There might be others though plus look for the pics off somebodys on here when you by one if it looks the same grab it with both hands and run.lol I know there are plenty of pics for this mod somewhere (and the correct console to use )
