New gauge cluster

I have been reading alot about switching clusters. I just installed a 2001 explorer sport white faced cluster in my 2000 Ranger XL base model. And I mean base model, no air 5 speed manual. It had no tach, Put it in and everything worked flawless. The tach in the new cluster is working perfect.
