Yea. Thank god I'm getting out of here just before it starts turning to ice. I suspect I'll be spending the evening doing the Morons On Ice ballet.

Way back in the day when I had a magnetic CB antenna as well, I needed it to stay in place since we were on a multi-vehicle road trip. We drove into an ice storm that was so bad, the ice was a good inch or two thick on the antenna whip. I had to use ropes like guy-wires on a tower to keep it from falling over.

Were suppose to get something like thatin the morning...

Thats when remote start comes in handy... Start it up and let the heater melt the ice.. instead of smacking around the door jam to open your door...

It wasn't all that bad here in Northeastern CT. A nice layer of ice. Turned the dirt road I live on into something like a park slide greased with PAM....
